My mate has a 2003 (53 reg) Renault Megane 1.4 Dynamique and it uses a 3 button key card which is specific to the model (led to believe it wouldn't work on a laguna). Renault are trying to charge £150 for a new fob (key is built in and slides out if the fob fails). The Question is can cards be reprogrammed, so for instance could you buy one from ebay and reprogramme it for your own car, or do you have to buy a new (virgin) card?
