will my sat nav work?

Hi all , just wanting to know if my standard sat nav still work when i change my bose head unit to a alpine double din unit? I am guessing that i wont get any sound out of it but should still work?...............

Generally no. There is talk that its possible to hack it together using various after market modules but its far from a straight forward job.

I am really annoyed and relieved at the same time. So glad i didnt buy one and then find out i cant use my sat nav and gutted i cant get rid of that ugly bose and have full speed ipod control! Oh well looks like i will spend on the suspension then

Where are you located? A friend whos an installer has mentioned that if someone really wanted it he could try and work his magic but hes never had one in that wanted to retain it.

Southampton mate I may just leave it though as i really cant be bothered with the complication of it all, the bose is ok for what i want just dont really like the look of it! May just do the ipod mod to it.
