optima yellow top battery

hello,any one got any pics of a yellow top fitted? or what mods they did to fit? trying to fit one in my uk 54z but looks like the wiring needs to be played with?! cheers

here you go, i dont think the wiring need anything, just turned round to fit, the battery was pants for me though as i dont run my car every day and it soon lost its ability to hold a charge

 

i now have a redtop fitted and its never missed a beat, bit more expensive (dont have any pics of that though )

I had to do the same thing with mine. I used audio terminals to help route things as you can see..

 

 

Fitted back in December this yr and runs perfectly to date, I run 750w of JL amps too.

I used to have a stinger sp1000 battery with the stinger terminals,that was an awesome battery but i had to let it go on my old car or i would of needed to put terminals back on the end of the cars wiring

No, I changed mine because I fitted an audio system and hence needed a better power source, and one that can handle a fast charge / discharge rate akin to running power amps. No performance upgrade, except maybe better starting.

am only fitting mine,because ive taken it out of my old car that am going to sell which had a upgraded system in it,bit of an overkill for the z as its got no amps or such.

just noticed...are the terminals swapped round on both batteries?as the + is on the right on both,if you get what i mean?

That's the way my old battery was, i assume because it's a JDM. UK are different.
