H5 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Guys, anyone know of a decent place that offers this? I've seen some silly mileage limits and prices out there so would be helpful to improve on that. Cheers. Quote
Chesterfield Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I lookedat this some time ago too, but the rates are just ridiculous. Mind you, if they weren't, they would be open to any tom dick or harry taking a Ferrari out and pottentially smashing it. Quote
H5 Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 It's my Dad's 50th later this year and want to do it for him. I guess after looking the cost will just have to be taken on the chin, but any suggestions for places with more than 100 miles to be used for a weekend?? Quote
Chesterfield Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 This place does single day, long weekend and full week hire. Mileage is 100, 300 and 500 respectively. But theycharge through the nose for any excess miles (£2 per mile) and the hire isn't cheap either... £2200 for a long weekend with a 360 spyder. Quote

H5 Posted August 28, 2006 Author Posted August 28, 2006 Hmmm, looking to be a pricey present so far then!! £2 a mile excess seems a little steep too. Surely they don't depreciate that much?? Might just give him the keys to the Zed for 24 hours...... Quote
rickya Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Better to do a ferrari half day, track day, better value for money & more exhilirating IMO. Quote
H5 Posted August 28, 2006 Author Posted August 28, 2006 Yeah, did that for him for Christmas recently! Am wanting him to have one parked on the drive and be able to go anywhere in it. Sheer posability!! Quote
