I'm looking at replacing the Bose stereo in the 350z with an alpine head unit (Alpine IVA-W505R)

Im wondering what im going to need to make it flush, will i need an adapter? Any of you guys sell them?

Secondly ive got the following AMP and Subwoofer from my old car, will they fit....

Orion HCCA-D5000 (Amplifier)

Orion HCCA Subwoofer (12.2") 4000 watt.

Will they fit?

Thanks for all the help everybody, I have had a read through the FAQ's and from what i can gather i will need the following items:

ICT 50-306 - Nissan 350Z 06 Onwards - Single DIN & Pocket OR Double DIN

http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/facia_pa ... 0-306.html

ICT 29-674 - Nissan 350z Bose USC Loom

http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/facia_pa ... html?cat=0

ICT 29-007 (Pioneer head-unit lead)

http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/steering ... html?cat=0

What my intentions are to take out the Bose head unit, replace with the alpine W505R.

I assume i have all the wiring i need for that above.

I would also eventually like to take out the Bose amp and power the speakers with my own amp and then i will have another amp for my sub-woofer, would that be ok or do i need more looms etc?

Im not actually going to be doing the install but i want to have all the parts etc for when i do get this all done. Cheers guys. You been alot of help.

If you're fitting an alpine head unit, don't you need the alpine remote cable for the steering wheel control unit?

Changed my mind mate, i decided to go for the pioneer as it has reversing camera, much needed for the 350z IMHO!

So apart from that, am i set to go?

Thanks dude, what about my sub and amp? Are there some issues with removing that Bose amp?

I'm afraid I can't be of help with that, I've only swapped the HU which I run through the Bose amp and speakers. There are quite a few threads on here that discuss your options.

bose "sub" and its "amp" are just un plugged takes about 2 minutes !

as for removing the main bose amp that runs the mids/tweeters im not sure ... couldnt get the darn packing thing out the boot(well i dint want to pull that hard incase i broke it) but its under the near side of the boot.

if you do got for a proper amp to run your setup you could just leave it there since the headunits outputs will be reconnected to your amp.

I think for the Pioneer headunit it is now advised to go for the 29-020. Works on my F910 anyway.

If you are not sure on your particular headunit try ringing InCarTec on 01392829435
