Liam's Z Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 What's the cheapest method in making them shinny??? Quote
mugwump Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Agreed, Autosol is a bit harsh for frequent use, it includes an abrasive component (as all polishes do...) thats a bit coarse for everyday. Great for a refurb/infrequent cleanup. Quote
lomoto Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 believe it or not! wire wool works on tarnished chrome, sounds crazy but it an old valeters dodge Quote

lomoto Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Done it today on a chrome bike silencer, some tart had left rubber footprint on a hot exhaust , came off lovely no scratches whatsoever ...I know sounds mad ...but works Beware though if poor quality chrome may mark! try inconspicuous place first Quote
Removed Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Will Autosol bring chrome wheels up like new??? LOL sorry mate didn't answer yr txt but was busy I don't use it on chromed stuff, but mine is the more abrasive version (there's 2) you'll probably need the other version although I'd try it on a very small area first Quote
