gazhull8474 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Hi was wondering if anyone can recommend a garage in the Poole/Bournemouth area that will be able to change my headlights over as i have a jap import 54 plate and need to put european headlights on it which i have already there may be a bot of wiring that needs done or is there anyone on here that would be able to do it for a good reasonable price Cheers Gaz Quote
Wookiee22 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Are the connectors different then? If not, it's a pretty easy job. Just drop the front bumper and undo a couple of bolts. About 45 - 60 mins work. There's a guide about somewhere. Quote

3FIDDYZ Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 The wires can be in different places different due to the auto adjust balast and other things. I think I still have some pics of mine where the wires were swapped over to fit, but mine were US ones so not sure if they were the same. Connectors are pretty easy to take apart and swap over on the headlight side. you just needs to know what goes where! Quote

Shaun1982 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I changed my jdms to uk lights as mine were shafted.Only thing needed was to cut the wiring blocks off & swap them with mine just leaving the 2 auto leveller wires off Quote

Should be able to get them booked in this Saturday just waiting to hear back from them. Then i will be selling my UK spec lights. Quote
