ripthejacker Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Hye guys, the car is currently at nissan getting a run though various issues. The one that im having the most curiousity over is the heated driver seat. It is not working but it is not a fuse causing this (it was checked and ruled out). Do you guys know what might be needed done to sort this and how much its likely to cost, as but he 12montth warrenty put on by NIssan doesnt cover electrics cheers, RIJ Quote
Ekona Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 as but he 12montth warrenty put on by NIssan doesnt cover electrics Can't help your problem, but I'd personally check the small print on the warranty as that sounds like utter tosh to me. Never heard of a main dealer warranty not covering the electrics at all. Quote
ripthejacker Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 thanks for the reply. But it is a 53 plate 350z so its a 12month warranty from being out of "official" warranty. Do you mean it should still be covered in this type of warranty? Quote
Ekona Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I'd certainly expect it to be, yes, especially coming from Nissan. I could be wrong, but definitely give it a good read. Quote
ripthejacker Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 will check it out man, thanks for the reply and information Quote
M13KYF Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 it may be the loom trapped againt the seat frame which has caused the wire to break. Find the break, and solder. I had a similar issue with the airbag Quote
