stichy Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 ive been changing the engine on my track car today, i set up the video camera an left it filming. i got 1.33hr of footages, i want to increse the speed of the film so it looks like its in fast forward, like time lapes. can anyone help?? Quote
mwalker56 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I'd use Sony Vegas Pro, but its not cheap! You might be able to get the effect you want using Windows Movie Maker (comes free with windows and can usually be found under accessories in the start menu, if you've not got it i think you can download for free from the windows website). If you load you clip into the timeline, select the clip, then click effects. Scroll down and select "Speed Up". You can do this a number of times to increase the speed. Good luck. Quote

Its a process of mixing a series of frames over each other to make one frame so creating the streakiness of timelapse. If you just timestretch it it will just look like something out of benny hill. stichy Posted January 1, 2010 Author Posted January 1, 2010 i cant get the audio to work on the windows movie maker, it will let me import the music for my mp3. and place it in the time line, but there is no sound, all the volume isturned up. any ideas?? Quote
