slickgolf Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Hi My car battery had gone flat , a 24 hour charge with an optimate shows the battery is now full. NOTHING.....absolutely no life anywhere. Do I have to reset anything ? Any help appreciated Thanks
stanski Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Is the battery still dead after charging or just no life at the ignition end? I suggest you remove battery from car - charge again but dont put back on car - leave outside for about 30 mins or so and put on charge again - see if its lost any charge - if yes - battery has a short somewhere or electolite depleted somehow - bin it get a new one If battery still has full charge but nothing at the car end - then check fuses are all ok - look in manual for them? Take it from there - but more info really required to help diagnose issue?
