sunset350z Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Ok latest update is really good news. I have the PS3 working perfect without that little cable and cicuit board. After having a chat with a guy in the know, he told me that all the cable and board was, is a sensor lead for the discs. When you put the disc in it senses that its going into the slot and grabs its and pulls it in. Without it all it means is you have to push the disc in a little further. The main problem why i couldnt get the disc to read was that all the alignment was out on the laser which stopped it reading the disc, After stripping the bluray drive down it now works as good as new.
