head unit

im looking at new head units, needs to work with a jvc cd changer.

 

can anyone surgest a good single din head unit,£300.

 

but ive been thinking about a double din/sat nav in one, but if i went that way i wouldnt wont to sent much more than

£500. am i asking to much

 

and is it worth upgrading the std speakers, non bose.

For £300 you could get an Alpine head unit that's iPod compatible with no CDs at all AND an iPod and have a billion times more music in your car :thumbs: I've got a X305 in mine and it's fantastic, really improves the sound no end and I haven't even gotten round to changing the speakers yet...

Sorry, never gotten round to it :blush:

 

It doesn't exactly blend in with the car, but it does do everything very well and is a piece of cake to use quickly when on the move. It seems weird now thinking of all the CDs I used to carry round when I had the Bose in there, and I couldn't imagine going back. :)

Haz1 on Talk audio is selling a jvx avx 800 double din for 250pounds.
