Posidrive Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 OK guys, I gone over and over all the posts in this section so many time that my head hurts. My problem is that I'm going to be doing a lot of mileage (20k or so per year) and as much as the Falken 452s seem like like good value for the grip and handling that they give, I can't cope with the thought of changing them twice a year. So, does anyone have any recommendations for a tire that offers a good combination of performance and durability? Quote
stanski Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Dont beleive the worries - I have had my Falkens on for 20K miles and they are still going strong - I do 3000 miles a month! My rears will need replacing in the next few months but fronts are ok, If you want he best long lasting - go Michellin but they cost you an absolute fortune! (even at Costco) Quote
ross@japex Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Ive found Toyo Proxes T1-r's to be a very good tyre, we put them on an evo x for a track day last week and he was very impressed. If you've got someone to fit them then Camskill do them for a good price. Quote
UNABASHED Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I've always been impressed with toyo's and just ordered some Falken 452's from camskill - very good price of £93 each! Quote
