phil350z Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 My exhaust is split at the flange between the backbox and mid-pipe bud (backbox side). Nissan quoted £430 just for the backbox, which seems very steep. Are there any non-OEM backbox that are cheaper? Luckily I know a good mechanic, he managed to fix it back together no problem, took him no time at all so i'd try that first. Even if you only get another 6 months out of it. I've had it 3 months now, and I give it some here and there and it's holding nicely failing that, could get a Nismo sounds nicer than the standard zorst but not blaringly loud - have a look at youtube to hear the note.
