Get tigerseal, turps seems good for wipeing away any excess and for cleaning up,sometimes best to use some maskingtape to hold you'r spoiler in place till the tigerseal has cured,oh and mind and clean of any polish or wax from your hatch before you try to fit..

Should be a template online somewhere, may want to try the US site.

you may want to contemplate putting a dab of grease on the screw holes on the spoiler, place the spoiler on the boot, wait a few secs and then lift strait up, should leave a removeable mark on the spoiler where the screw holes should be..
