After trying to fit a sunscreen for a sponsor on mine I would say its a pain in the butt!

 

I think you spray with a soapy solution and then float the wrap over the top and then squeegy out the bubbles with a plastic card and a sponge.

 

I would say for a better finnish it may be worth going to a wrap company or going to see John at JP in cranleigh (just down the road) to get it painted... its not much more and he does a cracking job :)

Seriously, go see John and have a chat. A few of us have used him in the past and he is very througher and his paint work is top quality :)

 

Always worth a chat and getting a quote...

 

Dcash is in your area and am sure he wouldnt mind showing you Johns handywork!...

I can confirm that fitting any type of vinyl to anything but a flat even surface is an absolute nightmare. I have given up smoking my rear lights with a not so harsh tint but gave up due to never getting a good result.
