milesh Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Hey guys Quick question...if I've not started the car for about 8 hours or so, when I do it revs at 2000 rpm for about a minute or 2 before gradually settling back down to 500rpm. I was just wondering if this is normal behaviour? My boss has an RS6 and when he starts that up it settles down to idle immediately Quote
Ian Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Is yours an 08? I seem to remember quite a few people with 08s mentioning a high idle when cold. Mine is an 03 & idles ate 1250ish when cold & then settles down to 750ish once its warmed up Quote
