Single backbox or duals?

I am about to replace OEM system from cats back. What are the pros & cons - a single back box (oem style) or dual silencers?

I don't mind a bit louder over oem but not to the extent of say, a K1 (too loud and raspy!). I think the Miltek that I've heard on youtube is probably more to my liking (deeper, quieter rumbly note!).

I propose retaining a centre box and same diameter centre pipe.

Presumably, the size of the boxes will determine how loud the system will be.

The exhaust specialist I will be using has a preference for dual silencers, his reasons - better flow, but I'm concerned about keeping sufficient back pressure.

My K1 isn't raspy at all....its just a real deep bellow.

I think you would be better going to a meet and hearing different ones in the flesh.
