  1. I am about to replace OEM system from cats back. What are the pros & cons - a single back box (oem style) or dual silencers? I don't mind a bit louder over oem but not to the extent of say, a K1 (too loud and raspy!). I think the Miltek that I've heard on youtube is probably more to my liking (deeper, quieter rumbly note!). I propose retaining a centre box and same diameter centre pipe. Presumably, the size of the boxes will determine how loud the system will be. The exhaust specialist I will be using has a preference for dual silencers, his reasons - better flow, but I'm concerned about keeping sufficient back pressure. Grateful for any advice.

Hi Sean, Did you follow this up with Longlife? I called in there last week and had similar quote for my Z. I've used them twice before (200SX and BMW 330d) and no complaints and would recommend. Peter
  3. Last week I called in on Longlife exhaust system specialists, based in Wallington, Surrey (not a million miles from E.Sussex) for a rough quote for replacement of OEM cat back, to include centre section and rolled tips. Quote was £450 incl vat and fitting. I have used them twice before and can recommend. I am still not absolutely sure what I want, even considering dual system which presumably will cost a little more. There Tel no. is 0844 800 2960. If you contact them, will be interested to know how you get on.
