The Hoff Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Hi all, I am in the process of making a moulded glass fibre/MDF sub box in the boot of my roadster. I am in need of some black carpet to cover the front which measures approx 75cm x 50cm. Does anone have any old spare bits that I could have to save me buying a big roll? Its doesnt have to be acoustic carpret just a black fluffy carpet to cover the flat MDF face. The Hoff. Quote

N1SM0350z Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Where did you get that plastic vent bit from?? Quote
The Hoff Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 Straight from Ebay, 99p with 99p postage!! Just search for sub box port I worked out the approx internal volunme then used an online calculator to tell me what diameter and length of port to use. Turns out a 2" diameter and 120mm length will boost the 33 Hz by around 2dB which is great. Quote
