Preston Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Anyone know anything about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Blitz-Th ... 240%3A1318 Quote
Darren-B Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 probably a load of tot, cant see it improving the performance even if it does anything at all with the restrictive ecu`s Quote
ZMANALEX Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Yes, to much to go wrong. If you want to achieve the claimed benefits then dispose of your fly by and replace the TB and fit a cable. Works very well for me. Quote
Preston Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 where do you get a throttle cable set up? Quote

srobrien Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 looks similar to the "sprintbooster", just amplifies the signal from the pedal to the metal so to speak, same as a "sport" button would do. I've used it on a e46 BMW 330cd, seemed to make a wee bit of a difference. It doesn't increase power just response. Not worth the money IMHO. R Quote
Preston Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 thanks guys, jut looking at different options for the cars performance a I havn't had the car long. Does the plenum spacers make an effect on the car with its restrictive ecu? Quote
Stew Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Yep. More midrange in my opinion. If you are expecting wonders, you aren't going to get them but I felt a nice difference in the torque when I changed out my plenum. Quote
Preston Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 thanks for the advice! plenum spacer added to wish list! Quote
