DOES DRIFTING CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE?

Not a pro series, but if i was to take a 350z on track aprt from getting through some tyres and a collision, is there any substantial damage involved with the car in terms of mechanics?

Also would normal insurance be enough?

normal insurance of course wouldn't be enough, it would be just like track days.

As for the first question, the clutch would not love you, and so wouldn't the brake system , to name just a couple of things.

The drift day we went one was quite foregiving as the wet the track I didi it my Cossie anyway and stayed on all day. I didn't use anywhere the usual amount of fuel I do on a track day. Tyre wise almost no wear. Dom did slide off into a deep rut and best a trailing arm though. Easy fix mind you.
