Stew Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Welcome to the forum. The paint needs claying badly as it feels like the surface of the moon so I'm looking forward to some slightly warmer weather so the clay actually stays soft! Great to see you're keen to look after her when the weather abaits for a minute or two. Oh I've been accused of being a bit of a detailer many times in the past! Or 'a sad bast*rd' by the ex! I usually get the latter I get that too normally followed by 'can you do mine next!' My sister is the best one though, she calls and says 'my car is REALLY dirty. How do I clean it without scratching it?' My answer, drop it off at mine. I'm a total mug! Quote
jamesyj Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 I've done the same thing mate! I'm 'booked' for two detailing sessions on both my grandparents sets of cars. On Christmas day they were going on about how sad it was, all this detailing malarky, I know how to wash a car etc. I said "Oh yeah, well I'll do your car properly and you'll be staggered at the difference!". They of course agreed. I'm an idiot. Quote
