is this aftermarket?

Hi Fellas

 

A couple of you commented when i posted pics of the car that the Zorst didnt look standard.

Ive taken a couple of pics - not very easy to do(!!) to see if anyone recognises it as an aftermarket system. Not that it matters, as it sounds good to me, im just curious now!!

That back box is too small for OEM too. Any engravings or labels on it?

 

Could have been self fabricated looking at the seam marks on the welds. As you say, if it sounds good - perfect.

The box sits up quite high and the pipes leading to the tips bend down and out where as OEM are straight round and out, also the welds make it look custom made, Looks like a powerflow or custom job.

Great........!! :yuck:

 

I could understand replacing the exhaust with an aftermarket one, but why would you need to - or even want to have it replaced by the likes of kwik fit :headhurt: Surely the original would'nt have corroded that quickly, forcing somebody without knowledge to go to Kwik Fit :scare:
