will be interested to see if they do need to re-release their figures after this :scare:

 

Kind of like Mazda and the re-release of the RX-8 horsepower numbers. That was big boo boo. :lol:

They should have just taken it off on the american batch or stuck another sticky note somewhere on the car for them. Those guys just throw the manual out the window.

This is purely because of the litigious ridden US market. Muppets who would use their launch control one too many times would go sobbing to Nissan that they broke their car, and Nicssan need to fix it. Quite rightly Nissan said 'hold on, you've done x amount of launches in a row" or whatever. Warranties are not there to get muppets out of trouble, they are there for genuine problems.

Plus, The GT-R is not a straight line drag racer. It is fast in a straight line but not a stoplight queen. It's a track car and those kind of cars have never been appreciated here in the states.
