hagar
just put the red stuff in the front and going to go for a bedding in test drive shortly, wish me luck! The changing is so easy on these calipers. So much easier than any car I've worked on before, its just take off wheel, remove pins, take off shim, remove old pads. So quick so easy, no more of forcing them stupid springs that ford used to insist on, no more twatting a big lever to shift the pistons back because the cheap granada you bought for your fiance had not had its pads changed in over 10 years soooo easy and I've not even cut myself which is unusual tomorrow, when it is light, I intend to replace the rears
lomoto
how much did you get the pads for?, are yours the Brembo,s or Jap type calipers?
hagar
brembo's its a UK car fella. Think they came to 54 quid or there abouts from brakes4u.co.uk Mr Lucky or what, I had tightened the bolts up and put the tools away, then during the bedding in run I rememberd about the locking wheel nut - well it sure wasnt on the car no more Turned around and retraced my steps, luckily it was near my road just laying there in the middle
