NWZ Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 Absolute bitch to install the K&N Typhoon, as a first time for me I reckon it's taken about 6 hours end to end, getting the scoop in was a real pain. Worth it, but I do question K&N's design. Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 but I do question K&N's design. In what way? The way the scoop fits in? IMO they looked at what they had to work with and then they decided it would be better to run this way than by cutting your bumper to fit a scoop.. Anyone on here notice a change with a popcharger after fitting a scoop into your bumper? Quote
NWZ Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 2 things really:- 1) The way the maf sensor cable is stretched to meet the position of the maf sensor in the intake pipe. 2) The way the box which holds the filter is designed you have to literally wedge it in. Quote
