SteveW Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Good afternoon all, I recently bought my 350 and it has a creaky bum. I have noticed I have a creaky sound coming from the back of the car when I go over bumps at slow speeds, if the noise is there at higher than 10mph I can't hear it. I'm leaning towards the drop links requiring replacement? Does that sound about right? If so how much are a pair of drop links? Chris`I Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 You're right in so much that its the drop links, but a bit of grease usually sorts it. Certainly did for mine. Not heard of anyone that has had to replace them for them creaking. marzman Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 I bought a can of spray grease and did this a few weeks ago, at both the top and bottom of each link - but it still creaks like crazy.
