Grinding.....

After the Hoon, well after the idiot in the Zafira moved me off the road..... I noticed a bit of a grind, it's quite constant but goes away at speed.

When braking it is REALLY loud, turning the wheel makes little to no difference..

The pads are only a few k miles old bt the discs probably need a change soon.

Is it just wear and tear and a coincidence it happened when I was not on the road or could it be something else?

Haven't investigated the disc surface too much.

Front passenger side (the wheel that got dumped off the road) seems to be the noisy one.

Braking does change the sound. It is very noisy under braking.

As I say, not too much life left in the discs but just wondered if there was something more sinister happening.....

could be something trapped between the inner disc surface and the shield especially if you went onto loose ground or the shield may be rubbing on the edge of the disc check its not out of line.

Thanks. I'll have a look.

It'll hopefully be something easy to sort to keep me going until I knock on your door for the whole PF set up..... :teeth:
