Uneven Tyre Wear

Hello All

 

Tried to do a search but couldnt find anything in the hundreds of results it produced, but is there a thread that has covered the issue of uneven tyre wear with 350Z's?

 

I seem to remember it being mentioned and just want to know more about it before I get my car, as its an 03 car I am looking at

The OEM Bridgestone RE040 did have a tendancy to feather on the inside edge on some cars. What kind of uneven wear are you getting?

Andy, not got the car yet, but I just remember reading somewhere that early cars suffer from uneven tyre wear on the inside and apparently had to fixed under recall, so just wanted to do some research into it.

 

Hopefully the car I'm looking at wont have that problem

After reading it, am I right in assuming that because the car doesnt have OEM tyres anymore, all it needs is now a wheel aligment and it should be ok?

 

Unfortunately theres no local dealer here to consult

mine had this on the front tyres, had the tracking done and all has been ok since

superb bike the k4 600

Just had mine sorted for this problem. It's down to the wheel alignment. Since I had it laser aligned and got new tyres it's been ok but I'm going to take it back to be checked every now and then.
