Hi All

 

Picked up my Zed today. A very clean and tidy 05 with just 22k miles. GT pack and Rays alloys.

 

Really enjoying drive home (~40 miles) when clutch pedal decided to act peculilar.

 

Pedal wasn't returning smoothly, would hestitate ~5/8 way up and then spring-up with a bang on occassions. My immediate thought was cable had jumped or similar.

 

Car was then stationary for ~30 mins, and then used 2 x 5 mile journeys and all ok.

 

Any advice greatly appreciated.....

 

(I did find a reference on US FAQ but this didn't seem to pin point actual problem).

Think someone on the other site had this recently. Somethig to do with the slave cylinder. A search for clutch should do the trick!

You may want to check out this thread and contact the lads who had the same problem and see how they've got on.

will continue searching... does seem to point to slave cylinder... drove perfectly today supplying dealer said he would sort out in any event.
