ticking noise once the engine is turned off

after a quick little burn around (obviously not on a public road), when i turn off the engine and exit the car something underneath ticks alot, i know most cars do this but mine does it a hell of alot, and im just curious as to what it actually is and do all zeds do it so much?

Probably the exhaust cooling down.

its the exhaust getting hot when you drive and then cooling and contracting when you stop

 

all cars do it if you give them some stick

Mine does it all the time with the K1 - makes it sound more like a monster!
