Where to get 12v supply for TomTom?

relentless

Recommended Posts

Hi All!

I want to mount my Tom Tom One in the slidey compartment in the upper console on my 02 JDM. Will possibly make some kind of surround out of corrugated plastic and cover in acoustic cloth. Might even use the original tom tom mount....

Anyway...any ideas where the best place is to take the 12v supply from?

Cheers

Mark

nice one Lomoto....the 2 power outlets is a good idea..

So i could take the feed from the same supply to the radio for example?

How did you fix the Tom Tom in place?

yep I seem to think thats what I did

To fix the TomTom I just used the orginal screen mount and screwd it the the back of the cubby, if you didnt want to do this just use strong double sided automotive tape

You will have to remove centre console and take power from a ignition sourced feed, and I put a double power take off in the hole as well as the TomTom..plenty of room and the lid shuts nicely
