Scarcity of Rear Tyres

What is it with the scarcity of 245/45/R18 tyres these days?! Took me ages to find someone with Toyo T1-R's. Ideally I wanted to try Eagle F1 asymmetrics but there's only one available in the country! Crazeee!

Didnt I read somewhere that they are replacing the F1 - which explains the scarcity.

Get some Vredestein Ultral Sessanta

This is 2nd car ive had them fitted to, and find them amazing. And they'll be cheaper than Toyo's in that size.

Finally managed to get a pair of Toyos, £139 each, gone up a bit since last year. I'll have to try out the Pilot Sports next time Trev.

Why didnt you go with Falkens? Much cheaper and very nice tyres!

About the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric, they are a brand new model which has received awesome critics. Too bad they don't make them for the stock front wheel dimensions..

Worth the extra cost imo now that Toyos have gone up in price. I paid £160 each for MPS.

I don't know about that. I haven't been told anything by my mates in the tyre industry. Our end of the world we can't get the German manufactured F1's now (much to my sadness), only made in Chiny (China), supposed to be made to the same exacting specs.
