Argyll Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I'm a bit skint just now so I'm thinking about doing my own servicing. I have a reasonable level of mechanics and have plenty of tools. Can anyone point me in the right direction of links to guides for this? Also links for everything I need i.e plugs etc and the best place to get them? Thanks in advance for any replies. Ps my cars done 25,000 miles. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 a good place to start would be by d/l some manuals http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Service iirc the plugs wont need doing yet checkout oilman (user on here ) for the oil filter i would use oem Quote
Stew Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Not sure which service it needs but if it's a basic one then oil and oil filter change. About an hour will see it complete from start to finish! I used the oem filter and amsoil. Quote
Andy Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Agreed, speak with Opie Oils and they will advise you and guide you in the right direction. Quote
Argyll Posted June 13, 2008 Author Posted June 13, 2008 Ok thanks guys. What's the best grade of oil to use? The Nissam garage told me 0-30w fully synthetic but anything they tell me I take with a pinch of salt. Quote

Cool Hand Luke Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Not sure how old your car is either but i think they suggest replacing the plugs after 5 years. Quote
