French Grand Prix Camping

Off to the French grand prix next month at Magny-Cours with my brother and our son's. Anyone ever been there? Also going to camp near the circuit. Anyone have experience of camping there?

 

Got main pit straight grandstand seats too

British grand prix too expensive plus also the weather is a lot more hit and miss here. Been to a fair few grandprix's over the last 20 years, much better seen them in the dry.

 

Ryan as always wanted to go, so yeah bit of a treat.

Hope you have a memorable trip. Keep in mind though that it's the French national holiday at the same time and the traffic is horrendous

i disagree, i went Silverstone F1 last year weather was great (i got sun burnt )

 

 

The atmosphere was great too, over 200,000 race day and qualifying had more spectators than the race itself the year before. yeap is expensive ( over a grand for the weekend) but it was my now ex's 30th birthday pressie - arn't i just the best g/friend

 

Off to Valencia street race in August can't wait, not quite Monaco but i'm not a millionaire

My dad took his mate to silverstone for a GP for his birthday a couple of years ago.

 

Said it was ok, think the weather was ok but he said he'd rather watch touring cars as at least you get some contact in there!

 

I still say I'd rather watch it abroad, street race sounds interesting....
