miller_350 Posted Monday at 20:28 Share Posted Monday at 20:28 Hi, I believe my clutch switch has gone. When attempting to start all the lights/gauges come on but it wont even attempt to start. It has been intermittently like this so I bought the switch and was going to get it done with it's annual service this month but now it wont start at all. Before I call my breakdown and have to push it out of my garage, any tips for getting it going? Cheers
ZMANALEX Posted Monday at 21:01 Share Posted Monday at 21:01 Just piggy back the wires from the clutch pedal switch. If it is not the clutch switch, then try the crank position sensor.
miller_350
Thank you. managed to get a code reader and it says U1001 can comm circuit - would that be crank sensor related?
ZMANALEX
Is this a current code or an archived code? Best to clear all codes, just to be sure. If DTC U1001 reappears, you will have to get a CAN system test performed to identify which control unit is causing the problem. I have all the control units in stock relating to this issue.
