Clutch replacement

My 370 has 43000 mls on the clock. At high revs and 'play' mode there is a smell of clutch plate burn. Around town it is faultless with no slip and lots of pull. If i was to replace the clutch would you recommend the dual mass flywheel, the friction plate and pressure plate be swapped?

At 43,000 miles, it is certainly worth considering swapping out the DMF with the cover,  plate and bearing.

If there is any rattle from the fly, then best to replace.

However, the DMF can be checked when you have the gearbox out.

It may also be worth considering upgrading the clutch kit to handle your style of driving.

Also, an SMF may be an option for you, but be prepared for some extra drive train noise below 1500 rpm, if you go this route.
