MrLizard Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Hi Guys Can someone just clarify this for me, I dont want to invalidate my warranty on the car, having the plenum and the lower collector should be fine, but will having a cone air filter/pop charger and shocks etc screw my warranty? Digsy Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 If they can link the failure to the mod, then you're screwed. For example, if the radio goes on the blink they can't tell you your warranty is invalid because you've got an induction kit. Quote
martinmac Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Depends on the dealer bud. I am lucky, my dealer knows that I could remove the exhaust and pop charger when I take it in so they dont bother about it. Not sure they would stand by this policy if it were major problems though. Quote

MrLizard Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 ok not such a bad idea... would a coilover pack/new pads be an issue or would just count as a replacement rather than a performance upgrade? Im by no means a mechanic but I am learning so hopefully popcharger etc should be ok... Quote
martinmac Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Pads shouldnt be a problem. Not sure about coilovers as they affect the ride height. Having seen the pop charger fitted its pretty straightforward. The guide on here is good. My warrant is up next month so I have pretty much thrown the book out of the window Quote
