Where is fuse 84 / main fuse box - windscreen washer pump

I'm trying to test this fuse before I go to ordering a new washer pump. But I can't find the fuse or the box. There's a small fuse box under the battery compartment lid "Fuse box No 2" on the diagram below And there's a larger fuse box under the driver footwell, also on that link. But the third one on the link below "Fuse box No 1", I just can't see it in my real car.  The handbook in the car makes no mention of it. Mine's a 2005 UK Spec Z.

Remove the scuttle panel.
