W Brace hitting exhaust

hi guys i wonder if anyone can help with how they got around with fitting the W brace with a larger bore exhaust without hitting and pushing the centre pipe up and vibrating

 

I'm fitting the tarmacsportz replacement W brace either being thicker than the OEM i'm unsure

 

is it safe to use washers to space it away from the pipe? or are there spacers to buy for this exact job?

i've sent them a message as well as to Bob with any advice they could supply in the meantime i've just used some old washers but still get vibration from the pipe on the brace

hi know its a while ago but did you sort this ? I'm having exactly same issue and am thinking of making some spacers to fit between the tarmac sportz w brace, think it only needs a few mms
