Can somebody tell me what part this is?

Hey guys,

 

having my arches redone on my Z at the moment. Body guy sent me a video of some more rusty stuff he spotted. I'm pretty sure this is the rear subframe, could somebody confirm this for me before I order a replacement. Also how much are they new from dealership if anybody knows? (2004 model)

I would not worry to much about that rust as it appears to be superficial.

 

The parts in question are your "W" bracing end brackets which are common to rust.

 

I would also have a look underneath at the actual "W" bracing which also tends to rust.

 

All parts are in stock if required.

Thanks for the quick reply, that gives me some peace of mind for now. I'll give it a look over when I get the car back and if it's bad I'll be in touch.
