Dashboard cubby hole

Hi, I am wanting to put my satnav into dash cubby hole, does the cubby hole remove easily, as I want to put hole through for cable,

I hate to damage things, that is why I am asking. Thanks in advance.

Facelift and prefacelift both easy to remove.

 

However you do not require to remove the cubby to drill a hole and feed a cable through.

Done this to my Z, my Garmin fits snug into the hole and I used the existing square hole under the rubber mat for the wire, the mat will still fit afterwards with no modification necessary. I wired mine to the dashcam so it turns on and off with the car too.
