Dash pod not working

Hey all. 

 

Just got a Z and one of the dash pods isn't working. It's the one that usually displays the time and other bits. It is currently displaying gobbledegook. 

 

Any ideas why it might be displaying like this?

It is possible it could be the white heater control box that sits behind the heater controls, i think from memory it also outputs to the central pods. Alex will confirm as above!
