Nissan Silver code?

Does anyone know the colour code for Nissan Silver, I went in to Halfords and asked the shop attendant but to be honest I would have got more sense out of the toddlers at the local nursery, even when I gave them the code of my VIN plate they hadn't got a clue!

There's 5 different silvers, but that looks like WV2 Gun Metal Grey

The code on the VIN plate is WV2 R, but it gives no description, is there anywhere that defines the codes?

Lazy bastards. I'm pretty sure the car in your picture is WV2 Gun Metal Grey though. The other silvers for that MY are quite pale.

My car is gunmetal same as yours and my code paint code is WV2. Went to one of these dealers who mix the paint up for you ( and for the local paint shops). I was sold three cans each with a different shade of gunmetal none of which matched the car colour.

waste of time and money. What’s the point of providing a paint code on the car when there are so many different shade within that code. Don’t understand it, but there must be a logic somewhere
