P15UL T Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 im looking at upgrading my battery as i will be installing and wiring up my sound system in a month or two, in my last car (Teg DC5) i used a optima yellow top for my install and was going to us the same again i was just wondering if anyone had any other options that where better or if they new if the yellow top one would fit into the space in the Z ? cheers in advance Paul Quote

Again I seem to remember a thread about someone mentioning it, but wouldnt want to say either way and have it not fit! Quote
H5 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Yellow Tops are great, but do have a flaw (or at least did). If the car isn't used regularly (or the battery charged / used) then they can suddenly stop holding their charge. I had one in my last install and it provided admirable power for the system. You also have the added bonus they are sealed and you can mount them on their side if you need to. As for size, I think it would fit. Not measured it myself, but think it would go. If not, there is another brand that I just can't remember the name of.... Quote
