350z "locking" or "sticking" when left for a few days

I have a company van, so my Z doesn't get used much at all, maybe once or twice on a weekend. When I get in it after a week of no use, I pull away and feel it slightly hesitating then hear a clunk from underneath. I left it over a week the other day, I got in it, let the handbrake off and it wouldn't even roll off my drive I had to pull away in 1st and the clunk was extra loud. Are there any common issues for this symptom or could it just be the breaks sticking somehow?

Also, when the car is cold my clutch also makes a noise. It was replaced OEM last year. If I pull away after starting her up, it makes a whirling sound as I push the clutch up and down about half way. After about 20 seconds of the car warming up, the noise goes away.

Any help much appreciated!

The clunk will be your brakes sticking, try parking it but leave the handbreak off and just leave it in gear. If it sticks really bad try rocking the car back and forth using 1st and reverse. Used to happen on my mrs old corsa after every wash.

Pads had the same thing week ago. Washed car after a drive as there was a lot of salt on the road and left it in garage.

Good shout, I haven't cleaned her in a good few weeks tbf!  Thanks

Didn't put it right, pads got stuck after a wash and leftover in garage. Anyway no big deal just move it bit fore and aft and they will let go

Was actually getting this myself too recently when it was snowing - super cold weather + no driving. Doesn't seem to cause any issues though

Nothing to worry about just the discs & pads rusting up with the wet weather
