g35 spats - fitting

Im wondering if anyone has a more detailed guide on fitting the Tarmac Sportz g35 spats.

 

All i can find online is, use self tapping screws and tigerseal.

 

With the self tappers, do i just use those in the pre drilled holes for the arch area and the tigerseal on the rest?

No reason you can't just tigerseal / sikaflex the whole thing, screws just add a bit more (unnecessary) security.

 

Screws can go in the wheel arch and / or underneath if you want.

You need the patience of a saint waiting for the tiger seal alone to hold properly, and nothing to clamp them to. I tried at work and gave up as the phone kept ringing. Got to get rear spoiler fitted soon, so will kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

If you take of the wheel and arch liner off you should be able to get a clamp round the front bit. Then get another couple clamps on the inside of the bumper.

 

You can always get a faster setting adhesive too
