MattRwebB Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Anyone help ?! I have no brake lights at all, traction control light on, ABS light on, and slip light I think it's called, but do have tail light Just had a new bumper fitted so rear light been disconnected for a week All fuses looked at (2 fuse boxes by battery, one under steering wheel) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Gudzy Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Obviously check whether any of the wiring to the brake lights has been affected by the bumper replacement. My brake light switch on the pedal failed and produced the same result, try disconnecting and then reconnecting it and if that doesn't work, try a replacement switch. Quote
MattRwebB Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 They tested the brake light switch, there was two boys to it or something one was a constant 12v the other there was nothing .. said it was something to cruise control Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

There are two switches on the brake pedal assembly. One is normally open and closes when you depress the brake pedal. This turns on the brake lights. The second switch is normally closed and opens when the pedal is depressed. This disconnects the cruise control. By the way, does your third brake light work? Quote
