[Video] Loud Rattle from Gearstick/box above 5k rpm - normal?

Hi all,

Would you mind running your ear over this video of my Z and let me know if this is normal, or if it is a gearbox issue or perhaps just plastics rattling from vibration? Basically the higher pitch rattle seems to come from around the gearstick, and happens from 5k rpm to redline. Its a 2005 Z.

Not normal imho (mine never did it anyway) but could be nothing serious to worry about.

 

No idea what's causing it sorry but if it was me and it bothered me then I'd start by dismantling the centre console/gear stick surround area to see if I could find anything lose that could be causing it.
